Lost Mooses Homemade is a cottage bakery owned and operated by me, MJ Brown.

A little about me: Every name has a story, and mine has been woven over time. If you ever saw a moose in Las Cruces, NM, or Marin County, CA you’d know it was surely lost—but that’s where the story begins. I am the “Lost Moose." I reside part-time in California and part-time in New Mexico - my baking is part of the journey of belonging and deepening my roots, and of sharing something special.

Through Lost Mooses, I bring customers fresh-baked treats made with care, joy, and happiness. Each recipe carries my love for baking and my desire to offer something warm, comforting, and memorable to the people around me.

So while a moose in Las Cruces, NM or California's Bay Area might look out of place, here at Lost Mooses, it feels just right—because this is where my story, and my baking, belong.
